Mr. Cooper is the founder and Chairman of CORE Botanica and has written a book about his life in tea entitled "Silver Spoons, Mad Baboons, and other tales of Tea." The book won the 2008 Independent Publishers Silver Medal for the best business autobiography of the year.

He is also the Chairman of Cooper Venture Associates. His internationally branded business is managed by Cooper Tea Company LLC. Worldwide, operations include private label tea packing, herb and peppermint processing, health and beauty aids, tea, herb and spice trading and liquid tea technology and B. W. Cooper branded products.

Mr. Cooper is recognized as an International Tea Master, with over 46 year's tea experience in tea and herbs. He holds a number of patents dealing with tea preparation and manufacturing.

Mr. Cooper was born in England and raised in the Highlands of Kenya, East Africa in the heart of the tea growing region. He joined Lipton (Overseas) Ltd. as a tea trainee in 1965 eventually moving to America in 1971 as a member of Thomas J. Lipton Inc. For the next few years he traveled extensively around the world as part of the Lipton Tea Buying Group. In 1978, Mr. Cooper acquired Simpson & Vail, a gourmet tea and coffee mail order company that he subsequently sold. Mr. Cooper ended his Lipton career to participate as an investor and manager in the leveraged buyout of Celestial Seasonings from the Kraft Corporation.

Mr. Cooper served as Vice President of Research & Development at Celestial Seasonings Inc. (1988 - 1990) and subsequently as Vice President of Operations. In 1992, he left Celestial to form his own company, Sandbar Trading Corporation, specializing in Botanicals, Spices and Tea, with manufacturing facilities in Ceylon, Thailand and Indonesia for both private label and his own products. "Coopers Tea Pods" that are internationally distributed by the Salton Corporation with their tea pod machines. Salton is widely known as the producer of the George Foreman Grill.

In 2002 Mr. Cooper joined March Group a Private Investment Banking Firm as the Senior Vice President of Import Management and Investment services. Mr. Cooper left the March Group in 2005 to work on Cooper Branded products.

Cooper branded products include all-natural, shelf stable, liquid tea concentrates marketed as "B.W. Coopers Iced Brew Tea" and in 2009 B W Co pers Iced Brew Tea gained organic certification thus becoming the only organic Tea Concentrate in the USA. The brand is in national distribution with the 7-11 Convenience stores, Sheetz Convenience Stores, Rock Bottom Restaurants and other well known chains. It is served on the fountain and in tea dispensers. In 2007, Mr. Cooper introduced the "ready to drink" concept of BAZZA High Energy Tea. This unique, breakthrough product was launched nationally with the 7-11 Corporation and was subsequently acquired by BYB Brands Inc .

Mr. Cooper is a past Chairman of the Board of the U.S. Tea Association, and continues to serve as Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee. Mr. Cooper has served on the FDA Board of Tea Appeals, as a US Delegate to the International Standards Organization and serves as an advisor to the US Government representative on all international tea issues. In 2009 he was the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year for the Rocky Mountain Region having been finalists in 2007 and 2008.
